About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Monitoring Driver in Point Comfort, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor or contractor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, access points, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by following visitor management, vehicle entry, and restricted-area procedures.
