About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Monitor in Prosperity, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter, with work environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support security-related operations by observing for unusual activity, reporting maintenance and/or hazard concerns, and following post orders for deliveries, contractors, and employee access.
