Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional site experience. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication that help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

A TSA issued TWIC is required.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, manage visitor sign-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including inspection of gates, fencing, parking areas, and other access points as assigned.
Communicate with site personnel, drivers, and guests regarding entry requirements, prohibited items, and location rules, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact.
