Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential checks, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points for a busy distribution location, verify authorized access, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with post orders.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Support dock, gate, and facility access operations by checking identification, reviewing shipment or appointment information, and maintaining accurate logs of arrivals, departures, and/or unusual activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the building perimeter and access areas to help identify security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues that may need to be reported.
