About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Governance in Loxahatchee, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, security-related environment by managing visitor and resident access, monitoring entry points, and communicating professionally with residents, guests, and staff. Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorization, document visitor and vendor arrivals, and direct approved individuals to appropriate residential locations.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
