Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel, helping to verify credentials, manage visitor processing, and document access-related activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, support security-related procedures, and report maintenance or access concerns.
• Support the movement of people, vehicles, and shipments by observing gate activity, following post orders, and reporting irregularities involving trailers, packages, and/or restricted areas.
