Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, delivery, and contractor activity in accordance with post procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Prepare clear reports on access-related events, incidents, and daily activities, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
