About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Winter Haven, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with client-directed protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels.
  • Screen visitors, vendors, and/or vehicles as required, maintain accurate access records, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and restricted areas.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, the business, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and supporting security-related operations as needed.
