About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor access points, gates, and reception areas to help support authorized entry, challenge unauthorized attempts to enter restricted areas, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, using established post orders and emergency response protocols appropriate to the location.
  • Perform assigned inspections of entry areas, perimeter access points, and other designated locations, noting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious conditions and completing required reports.
  • Assist with visitor processing, vehicle screening, key and credential control, and other security-related administrative tasks that help support daily operations at the site.
