Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations prior to employment

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred
• Access control and badge experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and supporting approved entry and exit activities for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership when needed.
• Monitor lobbies, gates, badge stations, and/or other controlled entry areas at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, helping to deter unauthorized access and documenting unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to doors, gates, restricted areas, and other access control equipment; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident reports, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding deliveries, temporary credentials, after-hours access requests, and other security-related matters.
