As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and screening activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document observations. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production location.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries, following site-specific access procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
