About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control in Normandy, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide courteous customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors and staff while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, directing individuals to appropriate areas and reporting access concerns to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations through required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
