Requirements

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, document visitor and vehicle activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site protocol.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, shipping and receiving areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Support site operations by communicating with staff regarding deliveries, pickups, and/or access requests while maintaining accurate security-related logs and reports.
