As a Security Officer Front Desk Security in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a government location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a government location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify identification and/or credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Operate front desk systems such as visitor logs, badge processes, phones, and/or basic reporting tools while maintaining accurate security-related documentation.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, provide directions and information to guests, and report maintenance, access control, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
