Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures, monitoring entry points, and supporting access control protocols at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, unauthorized access attempts, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Verify credentials, screen deliveries and/or vendors, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in accordance with post orders and other security-related procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, entrance areas, receiving zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe conditions that may require attention.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, provide directions and information to guests, and report maintenance, policy, and/or security-related concerns observed during the shift.
