As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support daily operations at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and verifying credentials, all while delivering excellent customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related objectives at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or property damage to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
Collaborate with on-site staff and law enforcement when needed to address incidents or emergencies at the location.
