As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Provide customer service to clients and guests by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed while carrying out security-related procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the food and beverage environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or breaches of procedures according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific protocols.
Work collaboratively with site personnel to maintain a professional presence and contribute to a secure environment tailored to the needs of the food and beverage industry.
