About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in Saint Pauls, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and providing excellent customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to support access control operations.
Enforce policies and procedures specific to the food and beverage environment to help to maintain order.
Document incidents and activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following established procedures.
