About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in Visalia, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A current guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Monitor and control access to the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain authorized access in alignment with site protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols specific to food and beverage production locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any irregularities.
Maintain accurate records and logs of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees to support a positive environment and address any security-related concerns.
