As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in Mesa, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a cutting-edge technology environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere for tenants and visitors. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel in accordance with established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual occurrences as required.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment within a technology, media, and telecom setting.
