Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and vehicles.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and following site-specific procedures.
Carry out regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and observe for any unusual activity.
Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and reporting details to Allied Universal management and site contacts as required.
Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Collaborate with site personnel to maintain order and support the smooth flow of operations within the logistics and distribution environment.
Participate in emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
