About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Rover in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, and innovation while helping create a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and/or guests.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and support authorized entry and exit procedures for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in an aero and defense-related environment.
  • Assist with security-related checks of doors, gates, lighting, and key operational areas, and communicate maintenance, operational, and/or incident-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
