Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit of people, vehicles, and packages by checking credentials, visitor information, and/or delivery documentation in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including entrances, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, and report security-related concerns or policy violations.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor access, vehicle activity, incidents, and/or daily operations to support site awareness and continuity.
