As a Security Officer Unarmed Access Control Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of technology-focused office spaces, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
Help support a professional, orderly environment by observing and reporting security-related concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
