About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting commercial real estate and residential locations, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and assist residents, tenants, visitors, and staff with professionalism. You will provide clear communication, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at residential and commercial property locations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, resident or tenant inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and property perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
