As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or delivery areas in accordance with site protocols, helping to support the protection of sensitive equipment and restricted spaces.
  • Assist with reporting maintenance concerns, operational disruptions, and/or suspicious behavior so the appropriate site personnel can be notified promptly.
