About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Access Control Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to deliver through teamwork while acting with integrity in a caring, people-first culture.

Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location supporting professional sports operations.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
  • Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
