As a Security Officer Access Control Patrol Driver in Wynnewood, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. In this role, you will monitor entry activity, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, log visitor and vehicle activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established security-related procedures and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, perimeter, and key access points, with attention to changing conditions common to an industrial environment.
  • Communicate with site personnel, drivers, and guests regarding entry requirements, prohibited items, and other security-related rules while maintaining accurate documentation of daily activities.
