As a Security Officer Access Control Gate in Walworth, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, monitoring access activity, and communicating professionally with employees and visitors. You will support security-related operations through attentive observation and exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors and contractors, maintaining visitor records, and following site access protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Support site operations by monitoring access-control equipment, communicating professionally with employees and visitors, and escalating security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
