About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Brighton, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure environment for tenants and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to work with a team that values integrity, innovation, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and access control logs as required by site procedures.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members, property management, and/or local authorities as necessary.
  • Remain alert to unusual activities or circumstances and report observations promptly according to site guidelines.
