About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Brighton, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure environment for tenants and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to work with a team that values integrity, innovation, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and access control logs as required by site procedures.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members, property management, and/or local authorities as necessary.
Remain alert to unusual activities or circumstances and report observations promptly according to site guidelines.
