As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier automotive location as an Access Control Officer, helping monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support smooth access for employees, visitors, and deliveries. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in processes, and report unusual activity or access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with professionalism, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed for security-related matters.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify conditions that may need attention.
