Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location, including access control for authorized personnel and visitors.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities when appropriate.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all activities, incidents, and/or observations during assigned shifts.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to provide information and directions as needed.
