As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the healthcare location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
Assist with visitor and contractor management by following site-specific access control procedures.
Provide customer service to clients and guests by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions within the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report all security-related incidents and activities as required by site policy.
Support emergency response activities as directed, while maintaining communication with Allied Universal management and site leadership.
