As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to an access control post at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and use technology to manage access points. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain an orderly environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the food and beverage location.
