About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Catawba, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will focus on access control, monitoring entry points, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. This primarily driving post allows you to interact with team members and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Primarily driving post is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and logging visitors as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal and site management.
Assist with enforcing site rules and regulations related to access control and visitor management.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and other security-related events.
