As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within an automotive-focused location. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, being a visible presence, and utilizing technology to support access control procedures. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Monitor and control access to and from the location, verifying credentials and permissions of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Document and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or security-related issues observed during shifts.
Work closely with client staff and visitors to address inquiries, provide assistance, and help to maintain a secure environment.
Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and/or client representatives, adapting to changing needs of the location.
