As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols of assigned areas. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Experience providing customer service is preferred.
Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Monitor entry and exit points and maintain accurate logs of all individuals entering or leaving the premises.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with directions and information in a courteous manner.
Carry out security-related procedures based on site-specific policies and protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Report any unusual circumstances, hazards, or security-related incidents according to company procedures.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols.
