You will greet employees, visitors, and drivers, verify credentials, manage sign-in procedures, and help maintain a visible presence through routine patrols. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures and Allied Universal policies at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobby areas by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining access logs, and directing traffic to appropriate staging and dock areas.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems to support security-related operations, and report irregular activity or policy violations to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities and coordinating notifications per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, perimeter areas, yards, and dock zones to help to deter unauthorized access and/or property damage; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
