As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will monitor entry points and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, interact with visitors and employees, and deliver outstanding customer service. By supporting a secure environment, you will play a key role in upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the auto industry location.
Control access to the premises by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the facility.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access or activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Communicate with site personnel and visitors in a professional manner, addressing questions and/or concerns as appropriate.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures.
