Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vehicles entering and exiting the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities in daily reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or law enforcement as required.
Assist with enforcing company policies regarding access control and visitor management in an automotive environment.
Remain alert to potential security-related risks specific to the automotive industry and take appropriate action when necessary.
