As a Security Officer Access Control and Patrol in Groveport, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support badge and access-control activities, use computer or tablet systems, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, policy violations, and other security-related observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
