You will manage visitor and employee access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and communicate professionally to help maintain a secure environment. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and access credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel and/or guests according to site requirements.
• Assist with visitor screening, badge issuance, escort coordination, and access-related inquiries while maintaining a professional, courteous presence.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
