As a Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization in Murfreesboro, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors entering and leaving the facility.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures, and communicate access-related information to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
