Requirements
- Possess a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle operator's license.
- Able to perform essential job functions.
- Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

- Work experience in the security field in the following areas: Patrolling grounds and buildings, Checking for violations of fire and safety rules and regulations, Checking building and office locks and lights, Answering security-related phone calls and emergencies, Assisting and providing customer service to visitors, Approaching unauthorized persons to prevent loitering, Assisting with police investigations, Operating fire and safety panels, addressing alarms, and resetting trouble codes, Working with disaster and emergency preparedness plans, Operating surveillance and security equipment
- Work experience in a nursing or residential care facility searching for missing residents or assisting residents during emergencies
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Responsibilities
- Monitor buildings, grounds, and parking areas to check for theft, trespass, and safety violations
- Check doors, secure buildings, and prevent unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas
- Assist residents, handle emergency calls, and follow procedures outlined in the disaster handbook
- Gather evidence, interview involved parties, and support searches when needed
- Deliver supplies, monitor cameras, transport residents, and assist with mail and medication runs
- Complete daily activity reports and maintain accurate records of security actions
