Requirements

  • Possess a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle operator's license.
  • Able to perform essential job functions.
  • Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

  • Work experience in a nursing or residential care facility searching for missing residents or assisting residents during emergencies
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office programs

Responsibilities

  • Monitor buildings, grounds, and parking areas to check for theft, trespass, and safety violations
  • Check doors, secure buildings, and prevent unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas
  • Assist residents, handle emergency calls, and follow procedures outlined in the disaster handbook
  • Gather evidence, interview involved parties, and support searches when needed
  • Deliver supplies, monitor cameras, transport residents, and assist with mail and medication runs
  • Complete daily activity reports and maintain accurate records of security actions
