Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Network Administration, or related field; and five (5) years of work related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Knowledge of networking services and common networking protocols
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of various types of computer equipment and software.
  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle certification is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers and other physical hardware.
  • Install and configure network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.
  • Update virus protection software to keep data and communications protected.
  • Monitor computer systems to import network performance for computer systems and networks.
  • Communicate networking issues to other employees management especially in training new users.
  • Fix software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems.
