About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring building security at Renewal’s non-residential and recovery centered facilities. The individual will maintain a secure environment by monitoring access to the facility, signing visitors in and out, and conducting regular rounds both inside and around the building. Responsibilities include responding to emergency and non-emergency situations, maintaining safety for staff and clients, and completing all required documentation in a timely manner. The role requires effective communication with all levels of staff, the ability to prioritize tasks, and the use of sound judgment and discretion in a variety of situations.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency and two years security related experience required.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, Act 33/34, and a high degree of ethics required.
• Ability to function in a team setting.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Must be able to work well with people and have the ability to be assertive and remain calm in the event of a crisis and be capable of maintaining control in any given situation.
• Computer literacy is a must.

Nice To Haves

• A Bachelors’ Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or a related field preferred.
