About The Position
This position is responsible for providing security for a safe and secure school campus. The role requires good public relations skills, knowledge of student conduct rules and school policy, and the ability to relate well to students. The Security Monitor must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, plan and organize tasks, and handle sensitive information confidentially. The ability to work independently, make decisions with minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks professionally, and cooperate with others is essential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Security experience or licensure (Class D) preferred.
- Class D Security License and a minimum of one year of verifiable experience working in the security field (required for Pay Grade 7).
