About The Position

Eden Prairie Schools is seeking to fill multiple Security Monitor positions at Eden Prairie High School. This is a Paraprofessional/Security Monitor role for a High School. The position is classified as MSEA Level III and offers 8 hours per day for 178 working days per year. The rate of pay is $22.81/hour. The start and ending times are to be determined. The position will remain open for 30 days or until filled, and applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with secondary students and adults.
• Ability to make appropriate decisions quickly and work independently.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to stay calm with disruptive students.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years post-secondary training in social work or law enforcement preferred.
• One to two years job-related experience dealing with adolescent supervision, preferably within an educational system.
• CPR certification and First Aid training desired.

Responsibilities
