About The Position

The Security Architect / Information Security Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of enterprise information security standards, architecture, and governance practices. This role works closely with security leadership and enterprise architecture teams to ensure systems, applications, and processes meet established security and compliance requirements. The position provides oversight across projects and initiatives to strengthen organizational security posture and mitigate risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 7 or more years of IT experience with exposure to systems analysis, application development, and business planning
  • Experience managing teams and projects related to information security
  • Experience developing or supporting enterprise security architecture and standards
  • Strong understanding of security governance, risk management, and compliance practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working within formal enterprise architecture frameworks
  • Experience supporting regulatory or compliance‑driven environments
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of enterprise security architecture, standards, and best practices
  • Define technical security direction in collaboration with enterprise architecture teams
  • Evaluate solution options to ensure alignment with security requirements and organizational goals
  • Partner with security leadership to implement processes for auditing and addressing non‑compliance
  • Conduct assessments to ensure systems align with internal standards and industry security frameworks
  • Facilitate remediation and migration of non‑compliant environments to compliant states
  • Manage and contribute to the planning and implementation of security controls across IT projects
  • Ensure security requirements are integrated into system design, development, and deployment
  • Support enterprise initiatives by embedding security practices into project lifecycles
  • Evaluate, recommend, and assist in the implementation of security tools, platforms, and solutions
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and controls to strengthen overall security posture
  • Conduct internal and external research to maintain alignment with evolving industry security standards
  • Recommend and implement improvements to work methods, procedures, and controls
  • Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including IT, security, and business stakeholders
  • Provide leadership in managing security‑related projects and initiatives
  • Support IT leadership in executing approved projects and security programs
