The Security Manager manages the daily operations of the Security Officers and other security department staff. In partnership with the department staff identifies crime, security , and safety risks in and around facilities and initiates appropriate action s to remove or reduce those risks. Protects and assists all patients, visitors , and employees. The Manager manages the team schedule, annual reviews, productivity standards, and quality management. Under the immediate supervision of the Facility Operations Director. The Manager is a standing member of the EOCC, the Workplace Violence Committee, and Emergency Preparedness Committee. Responsible for maintaining all areas of regulatory compliance as it pertains to Security Services. Conducts risk assessments, mitigation of any identified risks, and ensures confi dentiality and appropriate retention of threat assessment records. Must wear security uniform and bullet-proof vest while on duty.
